Photos and video for promotion: what to order first
You don’t need a brand film to look professional. You need the right materials, in the right order. Here’s where it’s worth starting, depending on what you sell.
If you sell products
Start with product photos on a clean background, from several angles, plus one or two images in a usage context. They work on your site, in ads and on social media. A short presentation clip adds trust, especially for products with details that matter.
If you sell services
People buy from people. Good portraits of the team and a few images from the work make the “About us” page more credible than any text. A one-minute clip explaining how you work can shorten the road to the first conversation.
If you have a location
Hotels, restaurants, clinics, showrooms: images of the space, at the right time of day, with good light, and a few drone shots for the overall perspective. These are the first things people look for before they come.
How to get the most out of the materials
- A single, well-planned shoot can cover the site, the ads and a month of posts.
- Ask for different formats: horizontal for the website, vertical for stories and short clips.
- Keep the files tidy and clearly named, so you can reuse them easily.
